Start each race by hugging the inside line; the tighter you stay, the sooner you can collect the first item box. Slime potions work best when you aim for opponents on the outside lane—watch their drift patterns and drop the goo just as they exit a corner.
Homing ghosts lock onto the nearest kart that’s not in your lead. If you’re in front, keep a safe distance and use the ghost to force a rival into a wall. When you’re trailing, fire the ghost early to disrupt the pack and create a slipstream for your own boost.
